Not much to report. I am still into cycling on Eurosport. Still reading a bit 2001: A Space Odyssey right now. We have started the September schedule at Kid Castle so I am working later. I have to keep on the ball in regards to waking up or I will go back to going to bed at 4 am and getting up at 12.30 hehe. As I have ran out of coffee I am well into Ceylon tea right now, as well as my usual Pocari sweat and such. In MW3 I am liking Team Defender and the SCAR silenced right now. Got a decent MOAB the other day on Mission and got a kill streak of 37 which I was rather proud off.

Ghost News

Not that shocking really but :

Call Of Duty: Ghosts – No Character Transfer Across Platforms Between Xbox And PlayStation

Ryan King

“Currently, we do not have the ability to allow players to transfer their information across platform between Xbox and PlayStation,” says Activision.

Published on Sep 2, 2013

Activision has clarified the situation regarding cross-platform character transfer for Call Of Duty: Ghosts, saying that it’s currently not possible to transfer characters across platforms between Xbox and PlayStation.

We had previously reported that character transfer between Xbox and PlayStation platforms was possible (such as Xbox 360 to PS4), after chatting to Infinity Ward’s Mark Rubin at Gamescom.

However, it seems that is not the case. Here is Activision’s statement in full:

“With the launch of Call of Duty: Ghosts, using their Call of Duty account, players will be able to carry their profile, stats and in-game progress forward and backward from Xbox 360 to Xbox One, and from PS3 to PS4.  This new ability will not only allow players to further enjoy their Call of Duty: Ghosts experience regardless of whether they are playing on current gen or next gen, but also will help them seamlessly transition to next gen, within console family, when ready. Currently, we do not have the ability to allow players to transfer their information across platform between Xbox and PlayStation. We apologize for any confusion. Please check for any new updates to policies surrounding console transition.”

Good if your staying with a format I spose.

More about squads :

Squads – Call of Duty: Ghosts features an all-new third mode of play, Squads, which allows players of all skill levels to take their squad of soldiers created in multiplayer and enlist to play solo, cooperatively with up to six players, or competitively. Squads features a variety of play-types, allowing fans to swap-out their custom soldiers at any time with a friend for quick-action co-op. The competition can be fierce, as squad soldiers display life-like, skilled tactics and behaviors like side-strafing, corner-camping, jump-shooting and more. Players and their squads will earn XP, and if you’re offline, be prepared, as your squad may be challenged for play on their own.
– Squad vs. Squad – Two-player competitive, pitting you & your squad vs. your opponent & their squad.
– Squad Assault – Play against another player’s squad – even when they’re offline in up to six-player co-op. Match-make against squads made from around the world, or select one of your friend’s squads to assault. Offline players get in on the action, as they apply strategy too as they can determine the loadouts of their squad, as well as the map and mode that their squad will defend.

Other game modes

Wargame – You & your handpicked squad of five soldiers vs. another squad, swap out your custom soldiers at any time with a friend for quick co-op play.
– Safeguard – Survive wave after wave of enemies in up to four-player co-op.

  • Search and Rescue – A take on Search & Destroy, but rather than having a single life per round, in Search & Rescue your team can revive you. It combines that teamwork and communication from Kill Confirmed with the objective-based cooperation of Search & Destroy.
  • Cranked – A new level of TDM. When you get a kill, you gain new abilities, but you also start a countdown clock. Rack up the next kill before the timer hits zero, or you’ll explode. In this mode, players not only end up competing against the competition, but also against the clock.
  • Blitz – An objective based mode where the goal is to breach the other team’s goal line while defending your own – a high-octane take on Capture the Flag.

Lastly had to fork out 1500nt for  a new mp3 player as the old one has pretty much given it up. I have spent a ton of late and none of it deliberate. Ok I am off cya!
